Check-in
Arriving early, I was pleasantly surprised when the staff had my room ready within just fifteen minutes. The process was smooth and effortless—exactly what you’d expect from a high-end hotel. There was no rush, no waiting. Just immediate attention to detail, which made me feel welcomed from the very first step inside.
First impression
The hotel’s landscape is nothing short of enchanting.

A beautifully manicured garden sets the tone: lush greenery with organic pathways that invite you to explore.

A modest yet stunning pool sits at the center, offering a peaceful escape. The hotel itself is intimate, spread across two floors—each room nestled between others, but still, the space feels private.

The ground-floor rooms are complemented with a porch featuring a swing, while the upper-floor rooms offer a spacious veranda with views to soak in. The overall layout is compact, but the atmosphere is quiet and serene, offering a calm retreat despite the hotel’s proximity to the vibrant energy of the surrounding area.
The room
The room was an elegant fusion of style and functionality. Green curtains, teak walls, and bamboo accents created an inviting space that was both contemporary and grounded.

Despite its relatively small size, the room never felt cramped—there was ample space to move, and the layout was well-thought-out. A bathtub, paired with a separate shower, made the bathroom a luxurious sanctuary. Everything, from the furniture to the fixtures, had a consistent design, showcasing careful attention to detail. The highlight? A charming little bamboo porch, where I could relax amidst greenery, perfect for a quiet moment. The lighting throughout the room was also noteworthy—delicate, yet impactful, and paired perfectly with the bamboo lamps that added to the soothing ambiance.
Garden
The garden at this hotel is a masterpiece. The granite stone pathway, with its organic design, leads you through a lush paradise of vibrant green plants.

I loved how the garden changed with the light: the soft, inviting glow of the evening lanterns created a dreamy atmosphere, while in the morning, opening the sliding doors revealed a serene view of the verdant foliage.

It’s one of those details that makes you appreciate the thoughtfulness behind the design, blending the natural beauty of Bali with the hotel’s architectural elegance.
Breakfast
Breakfast was an enjoyable affair with a wide variety of options. From fresh fruits to hearty hot dishes, there was something for every palate.

While the Eggs Benedict didn’t quite live up to my highest expectations, they were still satisfying. The quality of food was solid, and the relaxed, well-appointed dining area made for a pleasant start to the day.
Location
The location of the hotel is one of its standout features. Set in the heart of Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest Road, it’s surrounded by a vibrant array of restaurants, boutiques, spas, and cafes. Despite being in the thick of this lively area, the hotel remains incredibly peaceful, offering an oasis of calm at night. The proximity to excellent dining options and unique shops means you’re never far from the action, yet the hotel provides a quiet retreat when you need it most.
Service
The service throughout my stay was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. It was clear that the team had been trained to offer a personal touch, ensuring that every guest felt cared for and valued. This attention to detail in service made my experience all the more memorable.
